Ardtully Retirement Residence offers a friendly and versatile social environment in which to experience a focused care service, with access to skilled carers 24/7 as well as an interesting programme of activities and entertainments.
Both single and twin room options are available, with residents able to personalise bedrooms, while meals of home-cooked food make for a healthy diet that contributes positively to the care programme.
Ardtully', an attractive, rambling country house of charm and character, designed in a pseudo Georgian style in 1882 by George Sherrin, a prolific Essex architect of the time, is situated in the conservation area of Ingatestone. It is thought that Lord Petre, Lord of the Manor, had it built for one of his sons. The current Lord Petre, who continues to live with his family in Ingatestone Hall, maintain their ties and interests in village life today.
Ardtully offers single and twin room options and there are some bed-sits available for the resident who requires that little extra space. Most rooms have en suite facilities, but those without are furnished with vanity units and bathrooms are adjacent.
All rooms have adequate power points and a telephone point for personal use. Remote controlled TV is provided. All rooms are carpeted, tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard, although residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own possessions if they so desire.
The residence is registered with the Care Quality Commission to welcome up to twenty-six people, whose objectives all carers are trained to meet.
